Since the 17th of August, our little family of four has been living out of suitcases and staying with our gracious friends and family. Today, we finally get to step onto our new land that God has provided and move into our home. I wish I could tell you I’ve been calm and collected during this transition time, but in all reality, I’ve had moments of being completely overwhelmed and feeling a bit unsettled. Today, God reminded me that following Him, doesn’t always line up with our own timing, but He is faithful to prepare us for things ahead and to help us plan for things unseen.
In April, I had a sweet note in my Instagram inbox from a women (who I have never met from South Africa) asking if she could paint a prophetic picture for me. “Of course!” I responded. Two weeks later, there it was with a vocal recording attached to it. The painting was of me standing in seeded soil, rain falling down and my hands lifted in the sky. I listened to this sweet British, accented voice tell me how the Lord told her I was standing on soil of new land toiling it and figuring out what worked from last season and how to plant the seeds into the new soil of this season. The Lord gave her a vision of me on new crops, new soil, and new land. A little over a month later, we got an offer to move back to Montana, and Dan and I both knew we needed to accept.
I had not even thought about the painting until a few weeks had passed, and then it all made sense to me. I sat in my chair and listened to the word again, realizing that God was faithful in the preparation. I remember sitting at my desk feeling nervous about moving again and I felt the Lord speak to me, “you need to transition for the new fruit to grow.” Not only were we being prepared for new land, but God even told us where our house would be. On our last Sunday of serving on the worship team, our pastors and church family gathered around us and prayed. Raydeane, our mama of the house, got a vision while praying. She saw a house on a hill overlooking the city and felt that God had called us to this new land to be like the watchmen over it and to faithfully pray for it. Two weeks later, we had an accepted offer on a house on a hill, overlooking the city! God IS faithful in preparation, and I am overwhelmed by His goodness, and that the God of the universe loves us so much, that He takes the time to help us, to lead and guide us and to prepare us for the things unseen.
Today, I get to stand on our new land, and I am beyond excited, grateful, and ready! I praise God from whom all blessing flow. In this new season of new soil, also comes a new season of new growth, new seeds, new fruit, and new vision. Trust God for His faithful hand as He guides you on your journey, faithfully directing your steps and preparing you for the things unseen.
The plans of the heart belong to man, but the answer of the tongue is from the Lord. All the ways of a man are pure in his own eyes, but the Lord weighs the spirit. Commit your work to the Lord, and your plans will be established. Proverbs 16:1-3

Awe! Love this amazing testimony of Gods guiding and providing! I will pray for you often as I wrote your name in my Bible right next to my favorite strong verse.
Nehemiah 8:10
